ESG: Carbon Reduction Plan

• Taiwan Shan Yin has remained steadfast in its commitment to promoting sustainable development and actively participating in global carbon reduction efforts. We are engaged in operations related to the CBAM (Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism) to ensure that our products not only excel in quality but also fully consider environmental protection factors.

• RE10x10 is a global initiative that unites the world's most influential businesses committed to achieving 100% renewable electricity. Renowned enterprises such as 3M, Apple, CHANEL, Google, Meta, and others are part of this initiative. Taiwan Shan Yin has declared its commitment to using renewable energy for at least 10% of its total energy consumption by 2025.

 CBAM, WE ARE READY

• The transitional period for CBAM is set to enter into force on Oct. 1, 2023. In the case of Taiwan Shan Yin, we are fully prepared to submit CBAM reports, covering imports of our products and detailing both the direct and indirect emissions occurring during the production process of the imported goods.
