SKT® Coating is a patented nanometer coating technology developed by Taiwan Shan Yin. It is designed to help fasteners perform under different atmospheric conditions, pollutants, moisture exposure, and corrosion-related environments. The coating can be applied to a variety of metal and chemical surfaces to support anti-corrosion performance for screw and fastener products.

For construction and decking applications, SKT® Coating is especially suitable for screws used with ACQ-treated lumber, outdoor wood, and other environments where fasteners may be exposed to higher corrosion risks. Depending on customer requirements, SKT® Coating is also available in customized colors for different product lines and market needs.
