Self Tapping Screw (SMS)

Self Tapping Screws, also known as Sheet Metal Screws (SMS), are designed to create their own mating thread when driven into pre-drilled or prepared holes. They are commonly used for sheet metal fastening, light metal assembly, plastic components, construction hardware, and general industrial fastening applications.

Taiwan Shan Yin provides Self Tapping Screws in different diameters and lengths to support various assembly and fastening requirements. These screws are suitable for applications where stable thread forming, reliable fastening, and efficient installation are important.

Available sizes include diameter #2 to #14 / M2.2 to M6.3, and length 1/4" to 6" / 6.3 to 150 mm. Production is supported by Taiwan Factory and Malaysia Factory.
